As a male hairstylist who went bald quite young, I believe this article to be infactual and completely ininformative. Not to mention, poorly written/edited
Wearing a bsaeball cap will not induce baldness. It may wear the hair if worn VERY tight, at most. Although, conditioning IS essential for hair quality, it will not retain hair from the root. It MAY reduce breakage throughout length, at most. In fact if applied to the scalp, it may clog follicles, therefore being likely to increase male pattern baldness. The most plausible theory, being a build up of residue created from testosterone building up in the skin and follicle. Keeping the scalp clean MAY reduce slow male pattern baldness, but there is no cure as yet. For REAL ,EFFECTIVE treatments that have greater success rates in slowing male pattern balness, SEE A DOCTOR
